How do I sign up for an account?
To register for an account click the “SIGN IN” link at the top of the Tree of Health website, then “Register Now.” Here’s what you need:
- A valid ID is showing that you are the minimum age of 21.
- A valid California Medical Marijuana Doctor’s recommendation and/or State Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC).
- A working phone number to receive order updates (and registration confirmation).
- A valid physical address in California/inside our delivery zone (see below).
What is a valid form of ID?
- A valid proof of identification must clearly indicate the age or birthdate of the individual.
- A state-issued Driver’s License
- A state ID Card
- A Government-issued Passport
- A Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC).
What is a Medical Marijuana ID Card?
California patients who have a recommendation letter can apply to the California Department of Public Health for the Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program (MMICP). What is a Doctor’s Recommendation letter?
A Medical Marijuana Doctor’s Recommendation that has your full name, the date it was given to you and your patient ID number. The letter will also need to be signed by the doctor, embossed with a seal and have the contact details — email or phone — to verify it’s authenticity. Under Prop 215 (1996), a doctor’s recommendation authorizes a patient with a qualifying condition to purchase, consume, possess, and cultivate cannabis for their consumption in the state of CA.
What are they reviewing while I wait to be approved?
All profiles are approved by our admin team to maintain accuracy and privacy of your information - we validate all ID, Medical Recommendation, and MMIC information. To ensure that your delivery can get to you safely and timely, we will also review all delivery address requirements and notes.
How long will my membership take to get approved?
Approval typically happens within 10-15 mins to at the most 24 hours, but if you feel the process is taking long than it should please reach out to email@example.com with the email used to register the account.
What is Tree of Health’s Hours of Operation?
- On-Demand service delivery hours are 10 am-9:30 pm.
- On-Demand orders are accepted until 8:59 pm each day.
If you happen to miss the cutoff time for On-Demand you can arrange for it to be delivered Pre-Order the following day. If so you can choose either an AM or PM delivery window.
Pre-Order areas have two delivery window options each day:
AM DELIVERY | 10 am-1 pm
orders made after 3:30 pm the previous day until 8:59 am on day of delivery.
PM DELIVERY | 4:30pm -7:30pm.
All orders received same day from 9am until 3:30pm
You can request AM/PM windows in the delivery notes at the time of order.
Why are some locations On-Demand and others Pre-Order?
Tree of Health has decided to make #MyEcoResolution - by taking only two trips into the designated Pre-Order areas during the day to help reduce our Carbon Footprint.

What type of Location can I receive a Delivery?
In accordance with § 5416. We only Delivery to a Physical Address in the state of California- so private homes, apartments and privately personally owned properties are fine. Unfortunately locations located on publicly owned land or any address on land or in a building leased by a public agency we do not deliver to.
What are the types of taxes that applied to my order?
Currently, there are three types of Cannabis Taxes in California.
- Cultivation Tax - $9.25 per dried ounce.
- Excise Tax - a flat 15% tax on all Medical and Recreational Marijuana sales.
- Sales and Use Tax - county & local taxes specific to each location. Patients with valid MMIC are exempt from county and local sales taxes.

How can I pay for my order?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but for a very limited time we are only accepting Cash payments, while we wait for credit card processing capabilities. We expect to be Credit-only in the very near future. Thank you for understanding!
Do you take Medical insurance?
Unfortunately, No. Both recreational and medical marijuana is considered illegal controlled substances under federal law. The Controlled Substances Act considers marijuana a Schedule I drug. This class of drug, which also includes heroin, LSD, and Ecstasy, is defined as having no medical value and a high danger of addiction. With this federal law in place, it’s unlikely insurance companies will cover medical marijuana.
How much Cannabis can I order?
Following regulation § 5409. Daily Limits for all individuals are as follows for the maximum order allowed by a single person:
28.5 grams (1oz Flower) or 8 grams of Concentrates
28 grams Flower = 8 grams Concentrates = 800mg Edibles 3.5 grams Flower = 1 gram Concentrates = 100mg Edibles
When will my order arrive?
Order’s take about 15-20 min to process and fill. Delivery times will vary from 20 mins to an hour. But you’ll be able to track the progress of your order from fulfillment to delivery.
Can I track my order?
Tree of Health uses an application called on fleet- with the use of SMS notifications you’ll be notified when delivery has started and when it should be expected to arrive. Real-time driver tracking will keep you in the loop- you’ll also be able to contact your delivery driver through its call center. And at the end of every delivery, you’ll also be able to rate your experience with the distribution.
How will my delivery come packaged?
Tree of Health will deliver all items in child-resistant exit packaging.
Who can receive my order?
The member that placed the order is required to receive the delivery set.
How can I cancel my order?
In order to cancel your order and receive a full refund – as an online credit – you will need to send an email, which will have a valid timestamp, to firstname.lastname@example.org WITHIN 5 MINUTES of making the purchase in order to avoid incurring any reprocessing or missed delivery fees. In the email, include your Order Number and your intention to cancel the order. You should expect a canceled- order confirmation email right away (please check your spam folder). We highly recommend calling our staff at 510-766-6256 if you are unsure about the status of your cancelation.
If you do happen to miss the 5-minute window there will be a reprocessing fee of 5% of the Total Order amount deducted from the online credit that is attached to your member profile. This is to cover the cost of damaged packaging from attaching your Patient label to the ordered product. If you still haven’t successfully cancelled the order by the time the product(s) are loaded and out on delivery, then a missed delivery fee will be charged as well.
Returning or exchanging products?
All sales are final. Tree of Health is not responsible for exchanges due to user error, personal taste or preferences. Defective merchandise or products may be returned, exchanged or refunded if we are notified within 24 hours of the original delivery date. All faulty items must have the original packaging to receive refund/exchange. Damaged vape tanks must meet all the above requirements and have a minimum of 80% of the oil remaining in the tank to receive a refund/ exchange. We reserve the right to refuse refunds and return service requests to anyone.
